The event runs from Friday, September 13th at 3pm through Sunday the 15th at 1pm. People are welcome to come and go as they please at any time during the event, understanding space will not be reserved. There are two campsites booked for the event both in relatively close proximity to one another, easily walking distance. One of these will be a designated “quiet site” for those who wish to sleep earlier and or will remain quieter at late/early hours. The other site will be available for those who wish to sit around a campfire potentially into the early AM hours. There should be plenty of parking for 20-30 vehicles between the two sites- people should know that if their vehicle is blocking someone in at the site, they must be available to move it should said person need to leave. There is no cell service at the campground, and it can be spotty on the drive leading to the campsite. The required fee is $5 once per person, no additional fee for vehicles (the canyon doesn’t require one either).

Food will NOT be provided due to logistical complications, however campfire roasting sticks will be available. Some drinks will provided, though people are encouraged to bring their own coolers, drinks, food, snacks, and cooking facilities. All food and coolers are REQUIRED to be locked inside a vehicle at night– if you do not do this or forget, your cooler may end up in a strangers vehicle overnight to ensure group safety.

NO CAMPING GEAR WILL BE PROVIDED– you MUST bring your own. There are benches around the campfires, although they are not close and people will likely sit/tuck in closer as the nights cool down. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING AND MAINTAINING YOUR OWN GEAR.

If you leave the campsite at any time, you are responsible for your own gear. There is no guarantee that event hosts, U2F2 admins, or any other responsible parties will remain behind to monitor your personal items. We will do our best, but we cannot force someone to spend their weekend sitting at the campsite to watch your things. If you’re leaving, it might be wise to pack things into your vehicle with you.

This event is strictly 18+ DUE ONLY TO LIABILITY CONCERNS. This event is STRICTLY safe for work as it takes place in a public space. There will be a mandatory meeting at 7pm both nights to discuss conduct and rules. Please keep in mind others may be trying to sleep at the campground at various hours. We request that you leave any Bluetooth speakers at home.

There is bountiful recreation in the area, if you wish to hold onto specifics PLEASE consider downloading offline maps. There are lots of hiking trails and opportunities for off-highway vehicle use, especially within a 30-60 minute drive of the campsite. Note the “Stuart guard station visitor center” nearby for more information.
