Research Survey

Interested in helping the research project?

The online survey is expected to take approximately 60 minutes to complete.

Furscience is the public face of the International Anthropomorphic Research Project (IARP), studying furries and their fandom and disseminating evidence-based research to furries, the general public, scholars, and the media to increase understanding and decrease stigma.

If you are a furry and 18 years or older, you are invited to participate in this survey study about furries and the Furry Fandom.

This survey is part of ongoing exploratory research by Furscience looking at the psychology of furries and the furry fandom. Researchers behind the project will be collecting information about numerous topics with the hope of gaining a better understanding of the Furry Fandom.

Specifically, they are exploring questions about furry demographics (e.g., age, gender, sexual orientation), fan identity and fan-related behavior, fursonas and fursuiting, gaming, relationships and sexuality, physical contact, bullying and stigma, barriers to seeking out counseling, attitudes toward digital technology, neurodivergence, personality traits, and personal well-being.
