Pride Parade 2025 Edition
Get ready for another year of the Pride Parade. U2F2 will once again be walking in the parade to show our support for the LGBTQ+ community! We need your support and your fluffy selves to come and join us in this event!
Please read THIS DOCUMENT for everything you need to know to be in the parade.
Parade route:
The parade will start at 194 S West Temple and end at 300 S 400 E. The route has been shortened to 1 mile since last year. From step off (around 10:45 for us) to the end of the route (around 11:13) it will take roughly 30 minutes.
Call Time: Our call time is 9:00am – 9:20am, please be on time.
Where to meet: The address you can use 194 S West Temple St to navigate you to where we will be meeting. You will not be able to drive your car to this spot, so see parking below for your parking options. Look for a sign with the number 41 on it and a red Honda Ridgeline truck with a trailer attached.
Parking:
Utah Pride does not provide or contract any parking for the event. Participants are encouraged to ride share or take public transit. Utah Pride partners each year with UTA to provide anyone with a Utah Pride Festival ticket or credential free fare on Saturday and Sunday of Pride weekend. The Temple Square Trax Station is located right inside of the parade’s staging area and provides the most accessibility. Paid parking lots are located at the following locations:
- 200 West & South Temple
- Gateway Parking
- 306 South West Temple
- 380 West South Temple
- 128 South 300 West
Important Rules: The document linked above has all the rule for the parade, but these ones are especially important.
- Everyone walking with us will get a sticker day of that will need to be worn while in the parade. Ours will have the number 41 on it.
- All TRAX lines are live and active, be aware of any TRAX lines both in the staging area and during the parade. We will be crossing TRAX during the parade, just be sure to not stand on any lines.
- All entries must be able to keep pace with the parade, and be capable of walking the entire distance of the parade (7 blocks). There will be stopping and starting during the parade, and there will be traffic volunteers directing where to go and when to stop and start.
- Our trailer has fullsuit priority and anyone who is on the trailer when the parade starts will STAY on until the end. If you are walking in the parade you must maintain a 10 foot distance from the truck and trailer and DO NOT get on the trailer during the parade. In other words: If you are ON the trailer, you STAY ON. If you are OFF the trailer, you STAY OFF.
- All children under the age of 18 must be under adult supervision at all times.
- With the exception of trained service animals, no animals are permitted in the Utah Pride Parade.
- Please bring water, and stay hydrated.
Additional details: Contact U2F2 Admins before the event for pre-event fee collection, otherwise, at-event collection will be cash or Venmo. Card reader option available with a $2 surcharge fee.
After the parade, furs are encouraged to stay for the Festival for an opportunity for photos, free hugs (if that’s your thing), and more!

RSVP by Midnight on May 16th to participate in the parade! The U2F2 organizers need to provide this count to the Utah Pride Center organizers during a pre-event meeting. If you do not place an RSVP, don’t feel like you can’t walk the parade with us. The RSVP form is for us to get an understanding of how many people are for sure going to be there. We plan on putting an extra amount of spaces down, so please send a message to @JayeWysp if the RSVP sheet is closed.

Pre-Event Volunteering
In order to bring our parade entry to life, we need motivated, inspired, and helpful furs who would like to lend a helping paw.
We will need:
- Decorators
- Fursuit Handlers
- Water Wardens
- Safety Squad
- General Helpers
