Come spend an evening beside with good company and a lovely fire! (as long as it is permitted within restrictions) Bring your camp chairs, your blankets, and your warm, fluffy selves for a lovely mountain bonfire!
As always, this is a potluck-style event, so feel free to bring whatever food and drink you wish to share. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or attending your first U2F2 event, everyone is welcome to come hang out and enjoy the evening.

Due to the site that we have used in previous years still being inaccessible, the bonfire meetups will be moved to Spruces Campground site #8 in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Please make sure wherever you come from that you get your directions to this new site.

GENERAL LOCATION: ~1 mile past Donut Falls turnoff
Directions from I-215 to site: From I-215, take the 6200 South exit and travel a mile east to Wasatch Blvd. Take Wasatch Blvd a mile south to junction with Big Cottonwood Canyon/Highway 190. Make a left at the junction and travel up Big Cottonwood Canyon 9.7 miles to the campground.
REMEMBER that you will have to pay the booth the parking fee of $10 if you wish to park in the lot we have next to the site.
CANYON / SITE RULES
- NO (ACTUAL) DOGS or pets are allowed in big cottonwood canyon at all! (heafty fines)
- Please be respectful of the venue and other attendees at surrounding sites.
- Do not damage trees, vegetation, campground facilities, or wildlife habitats.
- This is a watershed area. Do not mess with any water sources in the area.
- Please keep the venue clean! They make it very clear to not attract wildlife with lose food or trash.
There is a cover charge of $5 per person paid to the admins, to cover the cost of the site.
PLUS a $10 charge, paid to the attendant, to park AT the site. We HIGHLY recommend carpooling and sharing the cost, due to this parking change.
You MAY be permitted to park outside the parking toll on the main canyon road to park for free, however we are not 100% sure.
