Get ready for a night of elegance and decadence, the 2023 U2F2 Furry Holiday party is upon us!

We had so much fun last year with the theme that this years’ holiday party theme is again…

That’s right! That excuse you’ve been looking for to dress up in your best frocks is here! Dress up formal, dress up furry, or maybe even show us a combination of both!

Don’t have any formal wear? No worries, just be yourself! We will always maintain that the U2F2 community is a completely judgement free environment and we want everybody to have fun, first and foremost!

When: Saturday, December 23 (doors open at 7pm – event concludes between 10-11pm)

Where: Sugar Space Arts Warehouse – 132 S 800 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84104

Attire: Formal, fursuits, masks/masquerade, or a combination! Attendees are also welcome to dress in whatever their wardrobe permits.

Cost: $10 per person (this helps the organizers to cover the rental of the space, provisions, and amenities)

Organizers: The U2F2 Admins; JayeWysp, Kayoran Nova and Nikko the Curious.

Paying for your ticket:

This year we will not be doing online/early sales because all attendees will be able to pay for their tickets at the door. We have plenty of payment options available for furries!

We accept (at the door only):

• Exact cash ($10).
• Credit Card ($12 – to cover digital surcharges) – Swipe, Tap, or Chip methods accepted.
• Venmo ($12 – to cover digital surcharges).

The event is open to all ages, however, anybody under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, parent, or guardian.

Safety and security:

• Attendees can rest assured there will be trained security staff present at the event to ensure the safety of all guests.
• No alcohol is permitted at the event, and attendees carrying totes and bags may be subject to searching at the doors. Anybody caught with alcohol on the premises will be ejected (possibly with a spring-loaded chair).

Raffle:

Of the major prizes we are giving away, one will be an Alpha registration to AWU! The generous folks at AWU have kindly offered us an Alpha tier registration for AWU 2024 as a raffle prize again this year!

Price of Tickets:

$2 for 1 ticket.
$10 for 6 tickets.
$20 for 16 tickets.

We also want to put a call out to anybody willing to donate items for the raffle! If you would like to donate items to be given away, DM @KayoranNova or @JayeWysp on Telegram! You may also show up to the event with any items you would like to give away in the raffle, but please also provide a brief description of your item when you do!

Potluck:

Please bring a food item and/or drink items to share for our potluck.

There will be a potluck for food, so please bring a food or drink items to share with everybody! In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we encourage anybody who plans to prepare and bring food to please exercise clean and sanitary habits when preparing and handling food.

Talent Showcase:

We will be hosting a talent showcase, so if you have a routine or some moves prepared, join the comp! We will only be hosting a maximum of 3 performances for the showcase, so we encourage anybody who wants to enter to submit fast!

Dancing:

There will be music and dancing on a dedicated dance floor space, with a combination of both contemporary music and traditional pieces befitting of the theme throughout the evening.

Parking Information:

There is limited parking at the rear of the venue (proceed along the laneway next to the venue to reach it). DO NOT park anywhere along the driveway next to the venue as this is shared by other buildings at the rear. There is also plenty of available street parking around the venue. How is the money raised at the event being used?

We want to be 100% transparent when it comes to how the funds from this event are being used. Ticket sales from the event will go toward covering the rental of the space and any associated materials (plates, napkins, tablecloths, decorations, etc.), as well as go toward saving for events U2F2 will be hosting in 2024 which require a cost to run (e.g. renting the space for bonfire meets, and other venues that require money to book/rent). Any funds in excess of this set-aside amount will be donated to the benefitting charity for the holiday party (charity to be announced at a later date).
